I help my current company to expand its business by transforming its traditional advertising strategies like print and newspaper advertising to Facebook advertising. This is because the readership of newspapers and magazines is getting lower each year and yet the cost is getting higher.
I am working as a graphic designer and marketing executive in this company. i plan the marketing and advertising strategies to promote our product. i propose advertising plans for company's facebook page to get as many engagements from facebook users reached as possible within budget allocated by the company, like page likes, post shares, comments, messages etc and optimize return of investment by attracting them to come to our shop and make purchases. i create images with creative concepts and compose texts to highlight the uniqueness of our products to ensure that the ads impress our customers, help my company to stand out from competitors and improve our business.
I analyze the results of facebook advertisements placed like organic/ paid reach, audience demographics, click through rate, cost per click etc through facebook ad manager and insights to ensure that the advertisements are good quality, attractive and target to the right consumers and with high relevance score to achieve the branding and marketing goals effectively and keep improving. I also make sure that the posts receive positive feedbacks from consumers to uphold the popularity of the brand and prevent or minimize negative feebacks from consumers like unlike page, report posts as spam etc.
Other than that, i plan, schedule and execute advertising strategies in other media too like:
1) magazine ads and newspaper banner ads: during sales period, create product and brand awareness, when new products launched;
2) newspaper insertions and billboard ad: when a new furniture showroom opened;
3) vouchers and table calendars: vouchers sent to customers during Hari Raya, table calendars sent year end;
4) exhibition and invitation card: take part in furniture exhibitions and send invitation cards to customers staying nearby to come to our booth;
5) flyers: for showroom walk in customers
6) sponsor prizes for contests and lucky draws: to create exposures for our product and brand, etc.

I worked as a multimedia designer in this company. I designed websites and software user interface together with web developers from IT depatment.
I worked mainly with adobe illustrator and photoshop to design webpages, e-banners, logos etc. Other than that, i also created basic html pages using dreamweaver and flash, therefore i am able to read and write basic css, html and actionscript. sometimes i helped developers to make some simple changes in html and css to update the websites.

I used flash and dreamweaver to update companies monthly e-news bulletin and maintain the company's web site. Besides, i also designed webpages, e-banners and e-newsletters.
